As the CEO of Blue Cat Energy, Michael brings over 15 years of experience in the solar industry and a deep expertise in tax accounting to the evaluation and development of high-value solar projects. Before founding Blue Cat Energy, Michael founded and led Dynamic Energy for 13 years until the comprehensive solar solution provider was acquired. Prior to that, he served as a manager at PwC. Michael holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University.
David Noteware
Co-founder and President
With a wealth of experience leading companies in highly regulated industries, David brings exceptional expertise to his role as President. He has founded and successfully led four companies across different industries to successful exits. David holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University, a JD from the University of Texas School of Law, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andrew Smith
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO of Blue Cat Energy, Andrew manages the finance, treasury, and human resources functions. With over six years as the acting CFO at Dynamic Energy, a comprehensive solar solution provider, Andrew uses his strong accounting background to ensure precise financial planning and reporting. He also plays a key role in developing and executing long-term growth strategies for the company. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Villanova University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Greg Boyer
Chief Operating Officer
As COO at Blue Cat Energy, Greg brings over a decade of experience in managing cleantech and renewable energy projects. With a strong track record of driving operational excellence at industry-leading companies, Greg has held key leadership roles at iSun, Pfister Energy, and Dynamic Energy. He ensures that solar projects are executed smoothly and efficiently, leveraging his extensive field expertise to deliver high-quality results.
Scott Starr
Advisor
As an Advisor to Blue Cat Energy, Scott offers extensive expertise in the development, construction, and financing of community and utility-scale solar PV projects across more than 20 states. His previous roles include positions at leading renewable energy companies such as First Solar, Solyndra, groSolar/EDF, Leyline Capital, Dynamic Energy, and GE Renewables. Scott holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Duke University, and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from GE.
